What to do with Breedable Lemon Pastel

DanPython Jul 03, 2006 04:14 PM

I have a 04 1300g female lemon pastel. When she was young she was a nice bright yellow pastel, but she has since faded. She eats a weaned rat every 4-5 days and is growing quickly. My question is what should I breed her to?

I have the following breeding males: PIN, spider, blonde, and albino. I also own an 05 cinnamon (266g) but he is a poor feeder and I do not expect him up to weight this year.

I will also have an female albino and female spider up to weight also.

well it depends on what you want to make and what the super lemon blast looks like and we should see that this year. In my opinion, lemon blasts look better than bumblebees but i think the killer bee looks better than what I imagine the lemon blast will look like. Then again, a clutch of super pastel's would be nice to. This is a good dilema to be in isn't it, lol.

If you can't get the cinny to go the I would go with the pin. I would definitely try to get the cinny up to size if possible. Have you tried anything other than rats to get him to eat better?

I have an idea!
I'll mail you a dollar, you mail me the snake.
It works out great. You get a crispy dollar and I can make super pastels.

Ok...so it works in my mind...

In all seriousness though...
I'd make pastels het pin...then make some pastel pins. I haven't seen those yet.

there is no het pin. it is a co-dom/dom trait. it is either a pin or not. a pastel pin is a lemon blast
