this is probably a silly question but i've always wondered what the numbers mean when people post what pets they have. im asuming its how many of each sex they have, is this right? which way round is it if so- male.female or female.male?

What is the white stuff? BTW cool, does that mean they are identical twins?

I assume you mean the white stuff around the eggs? That is perlite or perilite - not sure on the exact spelling.

Yeah, I was referring to the white stuff around the eggs. I used vermiculite and noticed a lot of people using the perlite in the photos here. I am a first timer, so just keying in on common trends.
