This is the first king I've hatched. I got to see this little bugger poke his head out. The eggs are just about the size of chicken eggs at this point, I knew it would be pipping any day. These are Okeechobee kings I got from Jason Hood.

I have only been breeding snakes for a few years & I can tell you that I still feel like a little kid at Xmas every time I see those heads popping out.

When she laid the eggs around May 1st. they looked like miniature chicken eggs. White as can be. They never changed in color or texture, only grew a lot!

She laid them while I was on vacation so they were really stuck together. There was one bad egg on top that turned every color in the rainbow, I just left everything alone and the other eggs were unaffected.

The first snake has emerged now, a male. A nice chunky little snake.

Well cool Matt. I was hoping you would get some babies out of that pair. I am going to be doing the Sunday show this month if you want to put them up to sell so you have a little more money for your baby. LOL When is your kid due to pipp???? I got a feeling that baby will be a little more rewarding.
