Pipping on the 4th of July...day 57

duffy Jul 04, 2006 09:50 AM

What a great 4th of July treat! Day 57 and the eggs are pipping. Although I have been on these forums for years now, this is my VERY FIRST batch of eggs. Normal/Okeetee corns. Nothing "fancy"... I can hardly contain my excitement. I guess after all these years, I'm still a "newbie"!!! So...For all of you who have been doing this for years & years...I want you to remember back on YOUR first batch of eggs & how you felt when you first saw the little faces poking out. Wanted to remind you of THAT feeling & share. I think I'll name one of them Liberty!
God Bless America! What a great day!!!!! Duffy :D
