I've got a couple of young Brazilian Rainbow Boas in rectangular 15 quart Sterilite tubs (same thing basically). I used a drill to put holes in for ventilation. You could also burn them in if you've got a heat gun. Try to avoid a lot of sharp burrs (left over plastic that sticks out around the holes), just cut them off. My Rainbows need high humidity, so I put around 20 small holes around the top. For heating, I've got a couple of heat pads under 1/3 of the boxes on a thermostat so they don't get too hot. If you've got a Big Lots or Dollar Store around you, you can pick up the smaller tubs for around 2-3 dollars. Make sure that you test that the lids seal tightly. Some times the boxes or lids warp a little and if there's too much of a gap- gone snakie. Not a problem with a leopard gecko though.
Good luck!
Lora
