BCC color shift example...

Yesterday I was asked what people mean when they say dorso/lateral color shift in Surinames, and I promised to post a picture on this forum. If you look over on the right you can see a definite line of scales where the color shifts from brown on the top to pink on the side. It's a lot more obvious when she is stretched out, and that's how I wanted to take the picture, but this one HATES me (every time I clean her cage I find myself singing that song "She hates me, she f'n hates me".)

All I have to say is, if she ever gets on your nerves, just send her this way I take that grumpy girl off your hands 8) LOL.

Thanks for the compliment Jake. She bites me once more you might just get her. Only Suri I've ever had trouble with. On the other hand sometimes those are the females that make the best breeders.
