i have a black and gold tegu which i have heard is just a black tegu or black and white tegu. so, really an argentine or columbian, arg. have 2 loreal scales if im not mistakin, and columbians have 1. but i got a prob...im not sure where loreal scales are excactly.....help?

The loreal scales are between the nostril and the eye. You are correct that an Argentine has 2 and a Colombian has 1.

Your lil gold guy/gal is most likely Colombian. I have one also, and have heard them called Gold, Golden, Black & Gold, Gold Phase Black, etc.
