How do I determine the age of my snake?

gemmaw Jul 05, 2006 01:49 PM

I was recently given a very pretty California King Snake, approx 2 feet long, any idea how old a 2' long California King Snake is?

j/k

Probably 1-2 years old, especially if captive-hatched.

If it is about 2' long it is probably either an '04 or '05.
If it was fed every week or so, it's an '05 - if it was not fed as often, it could be an '04.
