new baby pic

Just out of curiosity I put 4 f/t pinky mice with my newly hatched normal corns.They all hatched within a 5 day period.As you can see in the pic,the middle baby ate 2 & the top baby got 1 .1 was left.

I really recommend against feeding all the babies in the same enclosure. Feed in paper bags or deli cups. This way you know who has eaten and the smaller ones wont be intimidated. Also, although its not very common, feeding together can cause cannibalism. Two will fight over the same pinky and one will eat the other or suffocate it in the fight. It could happen. I feed all mine seperate. I also build a new hatchling rack, so my hatchlings are not doubled up either.

Nice babies by the way. Glad they are eating so well. I still have only had 8 out of 21 to eat.
