I just bought one from HD for my dart frog tank. It uses 2-20watt T-12 bulbs. It is a basic sheet metal design, and the only wiring that has to be done is to wire a power cord, which is just 2 wires. I know you asked for 'no' wiring, but I figured this merited mentioning, since it is only 2 wires.. Sorry if this is not what your looking for. If it would help, I could post pictures of the wiring and set up for you.

i think thats similar to what i found. all i need is a single bulb fixture for 1 t12 reptisun 10.0 bulb. can you just wire it to a basic power cord like say one cut off a lamp or something?

I used a computer power cord (I have tons laying around). Black wire with black wire, white with white. For the ground I just screwed a wire into the metel 'sheild' and grounded it in the plug. Gave it a quick test a few hours ago, works great. I will be lighting a 40 tall dart frog tank. Heat is my biggest concern, but the cool thing about these light strips is the ballest is removable, meaning I can relocate it further away from the tank. But I guess since you are using it for lizards (beardies correct?) heat is not a real problem. Inside the tank, about 6" below the lights, I recorded a temp of about 83 degrees. Hope this all helps! Best regards,

~Johnny

Oh yeah, I got this at Home Depot, and I believe they have a single light model. I could be mistaken though. Next time I am at HD, I will look to see if they have it. If they dont have the single light model in your area, I could probably send one your way, if that is what you would like.

they do have them i just didnt feel like messing with the wiring. i dont understand wiring and dont like to deal with it all. ive already wired my ceramic fixtures for my heat bulbs and that was easy but when grounding wires and all that i just dont get it. all i did was take a cheap extension cord and cut the female end off, wired to the ceramic socket and then plug it in the wall. dont see the need for grounding but yet again i am not wire savy at all.

thanks for your offer tho
