chicken snake

anybody know where i can find detailed info on breeding and careing for eggs and hatchlings..and hibernation. and it there another name for a chicken snake? i am asking for a friend who doesnt have a computer and his chicken snakes are breeding.

Chickensnake is a widely used common name for the common ratsnake (Pantherophis obsoletus). I have heard it used with all the subspecies (Yellow, Black, Gray, and Texas Rats).

It is also used for the Tropical Ratsnake (Spilotes pullatus).

There is plenty of info about both species all over the web.
