New beardie, is this a normal color?

dragoninthemist Jul 06, 2006 02:09 AM

Hello there! Our rescue just recived its first Bearded Dragon, and we're so excited! Not only do we have a new addition to our "family" but my fiance and I have been looking foward to interacting with a beardie for a long time.

Unlike so many of our other herps, Roland here dosn't have a sad story in his past. Just an owner who didn't have enough time for him, relized it and contacted us right away! So needless to say, we have a big, silly, healthy male (I think) on our hands.

However, I noticed something. A lot of the pics of beardies we see are darker colored animals with markings. Roland is a very very pale grey with faint markings. So we were just wondering if this is a normal color for a beardie, or if there is some sort of name to this coloration.

Thanks for your time!

-Raven

Very pretty dragon. He looks like a snow morph bearded dragon. (or maybe they call them blizzards in dragons...not completely sure on this)
