What's your favorite? Just so we're not all assuming, I'm talking about bulbs that give off both UVA and UVB rays as well as a fair amount of heat.

I've been trying a variety for my iguana and they never last as long as I think they should for as much as they cost so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a specific brand. Links would be nice as well.

I use the Mega Ray SB series bulb. Its a great mercury vapor bulb. You can order one from www.reptileuv.com

Reptile UV is a really great company. They will custom make your bulb depending on some info they ask about your setup.

You can't get better besides the sun. The people are great also. Dragon's back is 13 and has a deformed back from MBD (11 years ago) and she can't climb easily so she needed a bulb that gave good UVB at over 2' and that is what she got. She loves her MegaRay. Had 2 basking spots with a PowerSun in the 2nd. Both Baby and Dragon ignored it for the MegaRay. So now all my iguanas have MegaRays.
