2 feet
I just rescued one from some guy and the thing is crazy! Very shy and skittish. Just be forwarned before you get one.
i have one and he/she is doing great but fron the internet and people they were saying 12 inches and then some said 24 inches some i just asked on here
Well the one I have is 22 inches. So they can obviously get over a foot. Good luck with him! They are fun to watch, but I stick to handling my water monitor and leave him alone.
well I have 3 adults and they range from my smallest at just over 18 inches to the largest at just over 28 inches. They do calm somewhat with time but they do not like to be touched or at least not unless it is on there terms. They are beautiful and alot of fun to watch but not social with apex preditors like ourselves. You know handeling is just a prelude to gettign eaten in the wild
and all or almost all of these little beauties are wild caught and have a VERY healthy fear of humans
