You need to be sure the humidity is correct. Shoot for 60%, and get a meter don't guess. Snakes have a hard time to shed in dry conditions. It's possible that it tried to shed but could not. Is there a bowl big enought for the boa to soak in? Does it use it? You could make a humidy bin very easily if the boa doesn't soak, and they love them. It will allow the snake to shed properly. Is this boa eating everyweek? Is this boa growing? It is possible that it hasn't had a natural shed cycle in 2 months too, but it should be pretty soon. Watch the eyes of your snake every single day. When you see them clouded over then it is about to shed. After the eyes clear then you can even force the sanke to soak in a container with a lid if need be. Humidity is the key to good sheds.

Good luck,
Caden
