Kongster a yearling now * So different

PHEve Jul 06, 2006 01:49 PM

The Kongster has done alot of changing, has become so much more blue now, and yellow is really YELLOW. His dewlap/throat area is becoming yellow now also.

Kongster is a aquaflame and yellowhead cross. Very pretty guy , he has also begun to fill out like a big boy, Very sweet like Dad and mom.

We went outside on the steps for a photo shoot, some natural light.

The Kongster

What a handsome young man---very much looking like a yellow head in color as you say. Is he also big for his specie like his dad?

I think he looks a lot like TJ, the lizard I got from Tom Jones a few years ago. I think John-C still has him if I'm not mistaken. Very yellowy color, rather than the typical orange yellow that we seen in natural aquaflames.

good looking lizard though. How are those roaches? mmmmmmm

Yeah that Kongsters quite a kid, LOL As far as the roaches I sent ya a few HUGE ones, thought you could have them in a little cage by the bed at night, LMAO

You feeding many of them, or concentrating on breeding? Got offspring yet?

I have fed baby ones to my baby black agamas. And will give them to the new collared hatchlings also. I have used a few Nymphs for the collareds/ and chameleons, and a couple adult huge ones for KONG, and gave Chippewa one, and Chia got a big one after she layed eggs. And gave my blue tongue skink a huge one, she loved it.
The size of them seems to EXCITE the collareds .

I have probably used about 25 of them, trying to leave them breed for awhile before feeding heavily from them.

I'm doing good though, I bought 100, then last week got 150 and this week I'm going to buy 125 more, it's a good start for a colony. Thank goodness I'm making some extra cash, LOL soon it will be freed up to spend on other things, other than roaches, hehehehe
