Thanks! One more odd observation

The crickets I ordered has not come yet and its been 3 days since my cham has eaten. Right after this post I'm going to scower my new city in Gainsville for a place that sells crickets or any other kind of cham food. I don't have a car so it may be difficult riding the bus. Anyways, to the point i've noticed my cham sticking out his tongue and retracting it almost as if he was licking peanut butter off the roof of his mouth. I hear they do this after they eat in order to help push the food down. He has been doing this maybe 5-6 times a day when I havnt fed him and then he seems to bite on something and I hear a crunch noise. Is this a stress call for food? What is he biting down on that is so hard?

Could he be nibbling bits off the branches in his cage?
