Well, I'm back....

Nathan Wells Jul 06, 2006 05:21 PM

Hey guys,
I'm back online after several tiring weeks of packing and moving into our new home. In between getting ready for the move and of the actual settling in, I managed to slip away for a few outings to West Texas in hopes of collecting L. alterna and L.t. annulata. Now that I have my computer back up and running I hope to share with you all pictures of some great new and exciting projects and animals we are currently working with. Several clutches have been laid and many more are on the way and we hope to produce some of the most amazing and incredible looking L.t. sinaloae and nelsoni ever seen. 2006 is certainly off to a great start! Hope everyone is well.

looking forward to some pics of the snakes you produce this year. I know you're working with some cool projects. Since sinaloae and nelsoni are my favorites, I'm anxious to see what you produce.

Greetings. Very unique looking Sinaloan there!

It's my first post, and I'm just a newbie to this breeding thing.

Are you working with any Striped Sinaloans? I was wondering if you might have any double het Striped x Albino pairs available in the near future.

Robert Applegate said there's a 1 in 16 chance of getting a Striped Albino from breeding the double hets to each other. It would cut out a couple years of work to buy some double hets, as opposed to breeding them myself from scratch.

Thanks

Hello and thanks for the post.
I do indeed work with Applegate splotched sinaloae and will hopefully have some real nice double hets (splotched X albino) available in the fall. I also have my fingers crossed on getting a few albino splotched this year. I produced one last year that died in the egg and I see that old Bob produced a nice one as well.
True, 1 and 16 should be the double recessive animal. You could simply purchase double hets or raise a few splotched and albinos and eventually produce your own. Either way, they are all nice animals to own and work with. Good luck.
