Howdy folks

Well just a small update and a little story about something I saw today in our backyard.

Well Lady O is doing well, I do think she still misses Cedric but is doing well, eating, pooping, and sunning herself.

Bonnie and Clyde, well no eggs so far, Bonnie's been hiding of late in her fashionable one bedroom log. She comes out suns herself, grabs a cricket, then heads back in. So I am concerned about her lack of activeness in the new setup in the terrarium. Perhaps she's giving me her opinion on the new cage setup, when I had cleaned it out I had setup new and more egg laying areas.

I have a vet coming in next week to check on the three lizards.

Now onto what I witnessed today in our backyard, I supply squirrel and bird food for our local wildlife. Doves enjoy our backyard as our pup no longer gets unsupervised time back their. Just a small issue of chewing up the sprinkler controls for the backyard one day. Well I've seen some pretty interesting wildlife behaviour back there but today tops it all. Saw a pair of doves young one going through their mating ritual and as I was washing the dishes. The male jumps on the back of the female and it's over and done with in about 30 seconds or so. Lol, my wife thinks I'm nuts over the enjoyment our animals and backyard gives me.

So that's about it.

Glad Lady O is doing well, I think with lots of attention she will be just fine. When they are adults they are not supposed to be housed together anyway, becuase Male dragons stress the females out trying to mate so frequently.

As far as the backyard nature show , thats awesome I love watching all the lil bunnies and chipmunks darting about, squirrels chasing each other, as well as the mama and papa birdies feeding their young. YES, I too get quite enthusiastic while watching nature take place before my very eyes!

I used to have a pair of mourning doves (Pets) and the male Noah always preformed the dove mating dance while COO-ING at the same time, it was quite romantic, hehehehhee.

Heck, if I were your wife and you washed dishes while enjoying the backyard antics, I would STRONGLY encourage you to continue your observations! (wink)
