I SAW THIS BEAUTIFUL LEO AT PETCO!!!
ITS A FEMALE AND FULL GROWN AND FAT!!!!

THEY JUST CAME IN..
by the way this is a different PetCo ..a place where my friend works

and she is BEAUTIFUL!!!
and im considering buying her..
i have a spare UTH and 20 gallon long..
all i need is my parents permission..
BUT with my 5 other leos (kept in a rack system)
My Ball python
PAC MAN FROGS

and My New adopted beardy..LoL..
But boy was she beautiful..she had a partially regrown tail..maybe about a centimeter..
im guessing she is a SHTCT?..
i dunno..but she was bright yellow, and had limited spots a beautiful white and speceled tail with orange..

i think im going to get her..

oh and by the way..

i was asked to take some of my leos to my little brothers school..for show and tell and a responsibility of having a pet..

i was wondering ..could i use my hand warmers for a source of heat ?..

im going to take them in a critter keeper with a couple of there hides for a familiar feel..

anyone had any exp with this?..

well thanx for reading..

Well, you probably know the drill anyway, but my experience with petco/petsmart/etc is that if you're going to get her, realize that the price is really $24.99 an immediate visit to the vet. My first (2) leos were from petsmart (where my brother worked at the time), and they both had serious health issues. I made the mistake of not taking them to a vet right away, and then had to take them later on, which was much more expensive, and they died anyway (both had parasites). It was a very painful experience, and therefore I'm never buying any animals from petsmart/petco or big chain like that again. I later on found this little hole in the wall pet store that takes great care of all its animals, and have gotten a leopard gecko and a crested from them, and both are healthy and thriving, so I think I'm justified in being very wary of the big chains. They seem much more interested in making sales than in taking good care of their animals.

On a positive note though, at least it sounds like you're physically prepared for another gecko with a ready home for her.

I have bought from them in the past and had two die on me. Along with every other having parasites.
I would also ask you to consider that by purchasing them from a place that is known to neglect animals you are contributing to the cause. If you were to look around I am sure you could find a much better/healthy gecko for around the same price.
Good luck either way.
