kearress Jul 07, 2006 07:04 AM

as i posted earlier i just treated my beardie against coccidia.

does someone know if it's possible to desinfect the branch
that she's been in contact with?? boiling isn't an option because the branch is WAY to big...

i realy like the shape of this branch and it was very expensive so i hope i can use it again...

tnx in advance

i've heard that you can bake things to disinfect them....but if it's wood that might be tricky, i did it once and it started to smell like i was grilling out. i think the baking to disinfect probably works better with ceramics.

Hoi
zou dethol niet helpen??
gewoon heel die tak in een soppie van dethol doen en laten staan en dan weer uitspoelen???
normaal kun je ook bleek gebruiken dacht 10 % in water en dan goed naspoelen.

soak it in a bleach solution, like 2/10 then bake it. I bake ones all the time when I find cool ones around. Ive out in all kinds in my tanks and never have had a problem. I bake then at 350 for about an hour to make sure all the yuckies are dead.
