And my thayeri are a few years from breeding I thought I'd share a couple of pics of one of my other projects. These Texas Indigo eggs started hatching yesterday, so far 6 are out.

I won't be cutting pinkies in half to get these guys started!

My Pyxie, Fritz, turned out to be a girl... but after calling her Fritz for so many years... sheeeesh. I got him the year I graduated highschool... 1991. The females stay much smaller. I dont have any good ones of him. this one is a couple of years ago.

check out this big bull male... funny pic. Most people feed way too often then wonder why their pyxie only lived 5 years. Once they are baseball sized, meals should actually be rare. quite the opposite from what most noobs do.

The babies I got from you and Chris last year would eat spinach if I put it in there!

I will post pics when I get some good ones. They are doing great.

I would love to see pics of how they have developed. The two of my own I kept from 05 have held their color well, the female has “lightened” some but still no gray creeping in (not always a bad thing either). Both my males are a little shy at feeding time and prefer I just leave a f/t mouse in the cage but all the females are ravenous feeders; all the time.

Looking forward to seeing those pics (we need some action here anyway; everyone post pics).

Why were you barred from the forum? If you can’t say here that’s cool.

I REALLY like that orange Leonis, what a cool pattern (for a lot of black – LOL). Is it a male or female? You should take pics of the others without him because he takes away from the other ones too much.

Yes I was banned for 30 days for calling someone on the regular kingsnake forum a pansy _ _ _. The political correctness b.s. I see on that forum sometimes is too much for my liking. E-mail me and I'll give you all the details Rick (or anyone).

I don't know yet about the sex on that leonis. I don't like to sex them until after their first shed. I've got a slew of people asking the same question. I agree about that leonis, I'll get some individual pics here soon. I have a few MSP's that put him to shame as far as colors goes. I'll post pics of them and others soon.

I was wondering where you had been. If I remember correctly, I think the whole thing started over hunting. Anyway, good to see you back.

You are right about the hunting part. If you remember someone posted a thread about "what are your other hobbies" or something like that. A few guys posted some hunting pics and I jumped in too and posted some stuff about how I enjoyed hunting too. Several of us were just posting back and forth while the rest of the link went one about other hobbies below us. One guy posted he did'nt like hunting and a couple of us posted that it was alright and that we didn't mean to offend anyone and it was alright to disagree.
Then this other guy who will remain unnamed posted some b.s. about how we were murderers, and we used animals for target practice, etc,etc,etc..... I took offence and blasted him with several of my own posts. And we went back and forth. Blah blah blah.

But it was a nice break and I took advantage of it by building a hatchling rack with 30 boxes, got certified as a sterile processer(my job),and built a new patio cover in my back yard.

Boy it was sure dead here while I was gone. I'm glad to see the mexicana forum has come back to life. LOL
