This snake has some technique

I recently got this female from someone who could no longer keep her. I'm really happy I got her. First time I fed it was live, she didn't even strike it. The rat climbed up on her coils and she just started squeezing.

This time it was pk from the tongs. She ripped from the tongs and squeezed it a little bit right near her neck. Then for some reason she decided to squeeze it a bit with the tip of her tail too.

This snake is very unique. I can't believe some people give up such great animals. Sorry for the bloody shot but that happens with pre-killed sometimes.

Yuk!!! About 2 weeks ago I fed my baby ball, Dragon-breath...he squeeze the already dead fuzzy so hard...the blood squirted out and stained the water bowl and newspapers. I'm glad that he eats dead mice really well. The key is providing the right set up. I provide it with temperature gradients and hiding places on both ends. The basking spot is always at 90 or a little higher. He does use the hot spot frequently and stay there the whole day. If they feel secured and settle in, they will feed very well.

Yes indeed. That is quite the technique! Nothing like getting creative with your food!
