STRANGE PATTERN BOA

THIS BOA WAS BORN ON JULY 5TH TO A CLUTCH OF 24 ONE WAS STILL BORN 22 WERE NORMAL WITH NO YOLK PRESENT. AND THEN WE HAD THIS ONE IT WAS BORN WITH A SACK OF YOLK ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SMALL PLUM. THE PARENTS ARE BOTH NORMAL COLUMBIANS AND NOT HET FOR ANYTHING. WE WOULD LOVE TO HERE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT. HAVENT SEXED IT WAITING FOR YOLK TO ABSORB. BUT THE REPTILE GOD HAVE SMILED ON US WITH THIS ONE THATS FOR SURE.

Hello,
first, congrats on the babys and such a good sized litter too!
I honestly think that the baby is just underdeveloped.
Along with the fact that the breeding was normal x normal and
all the rest of the babies are normal. The pattern and tail
color on that baby look underdeveloped.. here is an example...
this was an underdeveloped baby from my normal BCi litter in
2003, looks like a cool patterned anery (mine was born dead)

Of course, I could be wrong, it's hard to tell based on a
picture and not being there in person. If that little one of
yours pulls through, I'd keep it and see how it turns out!

Thanks we like it too i agree it was a little premature as it was only one with any yolk. time will tell one this one just checked in on it and its doing fine 48 hours and still doing great. i will post more pics once it has shed and the yolk is gone.yes it was a nice clutch mom is just over 5 feet and now looks like a king snake so skinny. she just kept having babies lol.
