Yellow Nose?

metaldad904 Jul 07, 2006 11:51 AM

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this. This is Epi, my normal male retic. He's approx. 3 1/2 feet long. I've had him since february. When i got him, he started shedding a couple days later and managed to tear off one of his nose scales. Well, after it healed, he shed about a month later and his nose has been yellow ever since then. Not his head, just his nose. I've taken him to the vet and there's nothing wrong with him. He refused food the first 2 months, but now is eating like a champ and is doing great. Now, my question is, has anyone ever heard/seen retics w/just a yellow snout? I can't recall ever seeing one w/just that.

When I recieved my albino 3 years ago, she rubbed her nose raw in the bag on the way to my airport. Ever since then, she has had a white nose.

From 4ft:

To 10ft:

To 16ft!

It doesn't affect her in any way whatsoever-she's a fantastic animal!!
