Cope's Gray Tree Frog

chizu_sando Jul 07, 2006 07:33 PM

I've looked through the forum for information on sexing frogs. Is there anyway to tell besides size? My little frog Willow has a white throat which I thought meant she was a female. Lately, though she has started calling, loudly and often! Do female frogs call if there are no other frogs around? Like a "Hey! Come get me, you males!"

My understanding is that the females can call but it is usually soft. So maybe your she is a he!

There are alot of good forums on repticzone that may be able to help.

Ok, Thanks! He/She is still the cutest little frog I've ever seen. And continues to annoy my roommate on a daily basis singing.
