3rd Clutch laid today Pics

tailswithscales Jul 07, 2006 07:38 PM

This is my third and probably final clutch of this year. My largest female gave me 9 eggs total but two (as you can see) are bad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that remaining 7 eggs will survive to hatching. I was not able to get a clutch weight but the eggs are small. They are being incubated at 90o on vermiculite.

Here's her covering the eggs.

Here's the eggs in the incubator.

Thanks for looking.

half eggs do hatch at times but that one is a little too far not shelled......

I throw them out....

some I keep for awhile......they usually don't make it...

I hate runts too so easier to dump them when layed than worrying and fretting on them for months.....?..

my opinion.........

Nice! and I give you my personal guarantee that the egg on the far left will be molded/dead in less than 10 days. I had one just like it this year, went bad really quickly.
