If you want to use one of these, I would suggest going to a retailer that has lots of them on their display. Sort through them all, you will see quite a range of readings for several identical units in the same ambient conditions, especially the hygrometers. Pick one that indicates the average and use it as a "ball park" indicator, because you still won't know how accurate it is across the full range of measurement. I personally would have little confidence in one acquired through mail-order, without knowing how it compares to others. Good luck.

Are those Zoo Med its kinda hard to see? If they are I used to use them in my Iguanas cage and the hygometer was always way off. It would say 70% when it was actually 45%. The thermometer one was only of by a degree or two.
