My female black milk has started laying her eggs. At what temp do you incubate yours at? Do I stick with the standard 80 degrees or is that too warm?
Thanks for any help!

Hey Jason,
Congrats on the eggs. I have always done mine at 80 degrees and the babies have always been big, fat and healthy. I think you'll be fine with that temp.
Good luck,
Dave

Think you will have any extra females this year? I have some nice looking solid black males but some of the younger females are not turning pure black just yet. ( I hope they will eventually, I've gotten them from several different breeders) your female looks solid black from the pic I saw.

Hey Bob,
Both my adults are jet black and shiny with no signs of any red or white. The female shed last Saturday and is due to drop her eggs any minute now. I can't take it anymore! LOL.
Shoot me your email and I'll let you know what the break down of the sexes are when the eggs hatch. It's always nice to be female heavy, eh? My email is below.
Take it easy,
Dave
