Ordered a few ants,actually a few too many.Some of them expired while sleeping in the fridge.I thought "man, they should still be good".The small HL eats a few live ones and then scarfes up 5 or so dead ones.The kids a pig for sure.Its funny, I do give them a few crickets (small).Sometimes I put them in a ziplock with some calcium and vitamins.So I thought i might just set the bag with the crickets in the tank, and as the crickets file out wham.No ,that would be to easy, the little HL jumps on the bag and chases the crickets around under his feet, all the time sliding here and there.Licking the bag as the crickets dart in front of him.It's defin good for a laugh.I didn't think Hls were supposed to have sorta "beerbellys" but these two do.When the large one bobs it head and the smaller one does,makes my son giggle some.When I had one of these when i was young they were cool, now there absolutely awsome!!!There are not that many members here but keep up the chatter,dust is a little thick around here sometimes.scott.
