chuckrusso May 19, 2003 11:41 PM

i just purchased a ambanja panther it will be here on wendsday. i currently have a vielded that my friend is taking.

i have a 4 foot x 2 feet x 2 feet cage, i was told panthers are a little different that veildeds to keep. so where is a good place online to get a care sheet? i was told they like to climb more. so i ordered a bunch of bendable vines and stuff like that. any info would be great.
thanks in advance

Hi- Your cage is fine for an adult panther, the bigger the better! I keep 6 panthers currently, and have plans for more, I have not kept a veiled before, so I can not compare the two as far as what one is more active, but I must say my male panthers are quite active, and love walking on the bio vines. The care is the same the only thing is that panthers like a lower basking temp like 80-90F and a much higher humidity of 80 %. There are good care sheets on the net, click on my website link below for links to other web sites for your care sheets. To post a picture you must fist have it uploaded on the net to a FTP server, you can add photos to your gallery spot here on kingsnake, or your internet service provider, or even my website, just join the group and post the pictures you want, then after you have uploaded them on any FTP server your photo is given a web address (URL), right click on the photo select properties, then copy the URL and use your url of your picture this will post your photo on the forum. Hope this helps!
