Should eggs be checked on every day?

jasonw Jul 09, 2006 12:47 PM

Should I open the incubator and the egg containers to check on the eggs every day? I have been checking on them every morning and every night since they were put in the incubatore and so far they are showing no ill effects. So far all the eggs look awsome. Is it abnormal for all the eggs to look good thus far on the first breeding? Thanks

I only checked on my eggs every 5-7 days until the 5th or 6th week. Then I checked every other day. All of my eggs developed perfectly, a 100% hatch rate, and it was my first time breeding, so I think you will be fine. Good luck!
