No, this isn't a sea lion, it's the Upside Down Girl's mom & she's ready to pop this year's clutch. She's in her nesting box at present & I think it's just a matter of hours.

How many clutches have you had laid this year so far?Keep in mind I'm planning on buying a male ornate around April,so if you have any around there let me know!It's amazing how much their stomach's(body) expands with all those eggs in their.

VERY uncomfortable, almost sad to watch. She's been in & out of her nesting box repeatedly for several days, each time I'm hoping THIS is it. But, no, she squirms back out to bask some more. Needless to say, the word "eggbound" looms overhead but I hope I'm just overly attentive.
