Pender County N.C. E.Kings

Some pics of my Easterns. My friend Larry down in Wallace was nice enough to take me out collecting this spring after I got my N.C. permit this year. This is my first WC Eastern, a small male, probably a hatchling from last year. The Kings from that area that I saw seem to have black marbling in the white and speckles on the sides just after the stripe behind the head. It was a treat to go out looking.

N.C. Seems to have a HUGE variety. The Currituck Kings I have seen on Keiths site were nice lookers! you are lucky! I might be mistaken, but don't you have a giant MBK from Cherryville you posted a while back? How's it doing?
Bob.

Bob, my Currituck Eastern King is related to some of those Currituck kings on Keith's site. My 05 Currituck male used to belong to Keith. Peter Jolles (ECC) got it from Keith, and in turn, I purchased it from Peter at one of the shows. Pics below of my 05 Currituck male.
You are correct. I have the huge Mexican Black King. He's doing great. I think he's pretty much maxed out in size. I feed him around two jumbo sized mice every 7-10 days.

If you ever get a chance to also post a pic of your giant MBK I hope you do. Thanks.

Hello, do you know of anyone breeding Pender county kings? I was raised there and saw a lot in the wild. Some were very large 6' at least and very thick bodied, beautiful snakes IMO. I would love to own one so any info would be appreciated. Thanks Sean

Sean, My friend down there that was nice enough to show me around has a friend there that came upon a gravid E.King. He was going to let me know if anything happens. If you want to send me your e-mail I will let you know if I hear anything.I don't know if the little female i have would be ready by next year. Bob.
