Black blood babies

TonyLams Jul 09, 2006 04:01 PM

Always a treat every time you see the first of their cute little heads pop out of the egg regardless of which snake it is.

Here are the first of two baby black bloods that came out for a peak. Nine eggs in total with two fully out and seven heads taking their time.

First time I have bred these pythons and wondering for those who have whether the babies darken with age. I had read and been told this but would love to hear this from experience.

These pythons are not popular in Canada so any experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks.

By the looks of those babies I can see they should certainly be some stunning blacks Im quite fond of black/chrome head blacks, and if they have nice dark bodies to match it makes them even better IMO.

Best of luck with them. Im hoping my pair will be ready to go this season.

Well with these babies it is a crap shoot. Father is an intense black including his head while mother is a chrome head.

I have no idea how to post more than one pic but here is dad.
