Road Trip

My wife and I are headed to Chicago for a few weeks, and are taking our hermanns with us. What do you think would be the least stressful way to transport her? She is only about a year old so still very small. It is a 12 hour drive from where we are, so i was thinking about putting her into a small rubbermaid with sand and some moss, and letting her dig herself in.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ditch the sand...too easy to get in eyes/nares. If youre running the ac, think about a small 8hr heat pad if it gets too cold. Dark is good, and keep the box cushioned. Sees to minimize strees for my shelled travel-mates.
