05 Corn Island male

Jonathan-m Jul 09, 2006 06:03 PM

Hi everyone,

Here are a few pics of my 05 male Corn (produced by Rio Bravo) in a light color phase. I was finally able to catch some of that neat red belly coloring in these shots.

outside, no flash

inside, with flash

I love how these guys are able to so drastically change their colors. I've noticed that when he goes into his very dark color phase the patch of freckles thats on top of his head will completely disapear.

thanks for looking

Jon

That one has about the nicest tail I've seen on an Isla de Maize boa..
.
Good luck with that.

thanks for all the nice comments
This little boa is one of my favorite reptiles to take pictures of, he's always very relaxed outside in front of my camera and he always holds still long enough to let me fiddle with the camera before each shot haha.
