Get that hide outta here

dnreptiles Jul 09, 2006 07:19 PM

So I have ONE female that’s a mouse feeder and is my only “problem” animal. I say that because I feed everything FT rats. So I went and got her a hide thinking that might make her feel more secure. Got one of those plastic plant pot saucer things that’s nice and low and tight for my 1350g girl.

She keep pushing it towards the front of the cage. Ill take her out. Put the hide in there, watch her crawl under it and then I close the rack. I come back 20 mins later she’s in the back and the hid is right at the front of the tub. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

why are females so difficult!

LOL, because they're females. Just leave it for a few days, she may warm up to it. In the end you may just have to let her be without.
