Finally got one of my Southerns to eat on its own. I have been giving them .5cc of beef babay food for the last three days. I put him in a bin with a Southern Toad, and he left him alone. When I checked on him about 20 minutes later he was in full feeding mode, but VERY clumsy! He kept missing the toad, and then would bite himself as he moved. Very sad looking. Well, I grabbed a fuzzy and just waited. Finally I stuck it in his open mouth and he proceeded to eat. Then I trained another one on. Such a relief to get at least one of them eating. The other 3 got baby food again, but I will keep trying everyday. Here is a pic of the smaller female Maya.
