How many are working with campbelli?

I was wondering what the sizes of your breeding pairs are?

I've got a nice pair that I'd like to breed next year, but I'm not sure if the female will make it to good size by then. She is around 2 feet long, I've got her on a power feeding regimen, 2 fuzzies on Wednesday, 2 fuzzies on Saturday, and she sheds once a month. The male is around 30".

If you can get your Female to take Hopper mice, even 1 every 3-4 days, you will get better growth than on Fuzzies. You should be OK to breed next spring after Brumation, I have had success with small Pueblans laying with no problems.

I would put her on rat pinks if you really want her to gain size quickly. I started putting my yearing stuff on rat pinks and they seem to take off on them.

I think two feet is too small, but another 5 months of heavy feeding with rat pinks may get her there.

How old is she? I personally don't try to push females into breeding if they are too young. You'll get a small clutch, small eggs and the female will stay on the small side if you continue to breed her year in and year out. Just my opinion.

Good luck,

Dave

She's an 04. I just bought a bunch of mice... No intentions on getting rat pinks because I hear so much about why there are better alternatives.

She's big enough to eat hoppers, I usually just give her fuzzies or large pinkies.

I'd say 28 inches would be the minimum recommended breeding size for females. Feeding her twice a week should get her into that ballpark. I've had 24 inch males successfully breed. Pueblans don't seem to get as long as some other popularly bred milks like Sinaloans and Hondurans.
