..than to Super Balls. It tells wthe story better on WHAT the snake is.

Blood x Ball python

If this is the case even "bloody" isn't very descript, even though some of the "superball" hybrids have red like a "red" blood python, it isn't the product of a red blood / ball python cross. I am not 100% sure but I thought RR used a marbled borneo crossed with a ball, then took a male and female Marbled Borneo X Ball hybrid and bred them together and got the "superball" hybrid. So the "superball" basicaly proves the fertility of the first generation hybrids. I don't know of any red blood X Ball hybrids.

Really. Thanks Frank!

See with all these made up names like "Superballs" and "Bloodballs". I can see how people dislike hybrids. They should name them for what they are . That was my point of my post.

I produced these guys a number of years ago and I called them "BorneoBalls" since I used a Borneo "Blood" Short-tail and a Ball. Mine were the ones shown on Dr. Frankenstein (a friend of mine). They are fun to work with, some have nasty attitudes like some Borneos and others are calm like Balls.
I understand that Brian Barczyk produced some Red Blood X Balls last year but I have not seen them.
I have some eggs incubating from a BorneoBall X Red Blood but am skeptical as to fertility but they should be very interesting if they hatch (only have 4 good eggs at this time).
Check out Steve Rooussis's website. His F2 hybrids are extremely attractive in my opinion.

Chris. Well you know I have been trying to get these for years. Hook me up if you are letting any of those 4 expected eggs go.

Rainer,
I would be happy to do that though I probably "jinxed" things by speaking too soon. The majority of her eggs were infertile and I tried maternal incubation but she came off of them so who knows??
I have been distracted with work and building some custom motorcycles the last year or so and have not done much with the snakes or hybrids so I have not had any BorneoBalls for a while. I really thought I would be seeing a lot of them produced by now as they are really a nice building block to mix in to the Ball morphs.
Please keep up your work with the hybrids as you are producing some incredible looking creatures!
Chris
