So after 20 years of keeping & breeding only kings & milks (Alterna & Pyros mostly) and a brief stint with Chondro breeding... I finally picked up a nice pair of sub adult Western Hognose at a herp show this weekend..
So far i really like them.. My male puts on this GREAT show when i open his enclosure.. puffing up, rattling, and hissing like crazy.. i really like that...
I will post up some pix as soon as i get a chance but i wanted to ask you guys if you would reccomend any books that specifically deal with hognosed snakes??
I guess i see more of these guys in my collection in the future!!
