cayman trip

jf Jul 10, 2006 06:00 PM

As I mentioned a while ago i was going to the Caymans. This was back in May. Since then i finally figured out a way around my firewall to post pictures. The first is a large Caymanensis from little cayman, He had a great corner pad on an abandoned street. The second is Gorgeous George from the Botanical Gardens on GC. He is a free roamer and quite a handsome lizard, very blue. i have a bunch of shots if you want to see more.

thanks for finding the time Tom. Des, you may remember but i think this is "Santa" If so this could be one of the last photos taken of him. He is still missing right? He was chasing down a female whan I took this. He is that blue but was interesting was the spines at the base of the tail are purple at the tip either from the blood within or just coloring when they get all fired up chasing the girls

That is a great shot! I can't tell if that is Santa - I've only seen him in photos. I haven't recently heard anything new re: Santa from Fred; sigh. Thanks for sharing and I was envious when you had went in May. I won't be going to Cayman this summer, as I had hoped, due to work issues. Hopefully December......
