Nice finds. Were those from the Snake River Canyon or did you go further away? Here's one we tracked with radiotelemetry for a couple of years at the Snake River and a photo of a non-research oreganus from the Yakima River area. Good to see a fellow Coug post... WSU Class of 1999. Go Cougs!

Thanks, right back at ya. And yes they are from a den off Wawawai rd. I have been doing a population genetics study with these local populations (wawawai rd and boyer pk)for the last three years. I found that these particular snakes are genetically isolated from the surrounding metapopulations and think that the cause is the construction of lower granite dam. I'm in the process of publishing the results.
