Hots are legal in Wisconsin, but I beleive the 2 native Rattlesnakes are protected. There is a Expo on July 30th in Racine that allows Hots. I plan on having a table at http://www.sewerfest.com/.

Tim is right with the exception of Milwaukee (and the entire county) where they are strictly forbidden. Look forward to checking out sewarfest.

I do not know if things have changed, but last year Wisconsin passed a law where all animals brought in from out of state will need papers from a vet verifying they are in good health. This greatly reduced the number of vendors last year.

I just wanted to give you a heads up if you were not aware.

Like I said, I don't know if things got changed or "bent"....but I figured it was something worth bringing up and asking about before planning a drive from Texas.

I am aware of this and my vet will be contacting them for the permit. Thanks for looking out for me!

Wisconsin allows exotics as a whole, but it's not just Milwaukee County that forbids them. Check with your authorities as all counties vary.

I"ve never been in the state at the time sewerfest was on... I didn't know it was getting so big. I"ll have to make some better efforts to attend in the future.
