Animal Plastics rack for BCI litter?

Venomjunkie Jul 10, 2006 09:36 PM

hi, i usually only post on the venomous forum here but im planning on breeding my pair of BCI in about two years and i was wondering what you guys would recommend as the best AP rack for a litter of BCI. i know its still pretty far away but i figure its best if i start scouting for a rack now. so what type of AP rack (rubbermaid, sterlite, or iris) and what model would you say is the best for a litter of baby boas?

Dylan,
I have been using one of the 45 tub Iris hatchling racks from AP, and I think its great. I guess it all boils down to what you want/need on the style you buy. I wish I'd have ordered two racks because my first litter had 46 boas in it! Anyway, here are a couple pictures of the rack.

thanks for the reply! i cant believe you had 46 babies in your first litter. i thought a females first litter was supposed to be small . i guess not in your case lol. but anyway thanks for the reply and the pics. the rack looks great
