Relocating Mojave Rattlers

erinmcguire Jul 10, 2006 10:17 PM

Hello. I live in an area that has a large population of Mojave rattlesnakes. I have caught and released 3 since March. There isnt a lot of room out here for relocating these animals and I dont want to kill them. Somebody told me that there were people who took these snakes for milking and I was wondering if anybody using this forum knew of a person or organization in the Palmdale/Lancaster area of Southern California who would take these snakes.
Any information you can offer will be most sincerely appreciated.
Thank you
ekm

I would try contacting Dr. Bush from Animal Panet's Venon ER. He does a lot of things like that and is close to you can't think of the city right now but you can figure it out. It's worth a try. Thats the best I could do, better than nothing.

Thank you for the suggestion Justin. I will see if there is some way to contact him through the Animal Planets home page.
