is it posible for them to cross breed?i have a snake that looks like a combo of both.

I believe it's possible, they are in the same genera and both produce living young (not egg layers)and are a similar size and live in similar environments in the wild, I have caught them under the same rocks in New Jersey.

Do you have a photo of it you could post? I've seen examples of possible intergrades/hybrids here in southern Minnesota, too. Been a long time and I've only seen a couple of 'em...but they sure looked like an even combo of both. TJ.
