how often to feed

goldeie_lover Jul 11, 2006 03:22 PM

my leopad gecko is about one month old and I wondering how often I should feed her

last night she ate 7 tiny crikets and two tiny mealworms

based on this diet how often should I feed her or should I lessen her feeding

also is it possible to over feed?

Leos usually do not over eat, so feed him/her whatever she'll eat. That young, she'll probably eat everyday. Be sure to gut load your insects well. And if you feed in the cage, don't leave crickets in there for more than 20 mins or so. They'll nibble on her toes and just drive her nuts. Hope this helps.
Oh yeah, sometimes it's better to post on the main leopard gecko forum; you get more responses there.
