I've had this problem before with my male ambilobe. You said you tried bathing and it hasn't worked. My advice is that you find a near by exotic vet and make an appointment. Your cham may have an upper respritory infection and the sinuses of chameleons connect to the eyes. Another possibility is that it may have scratched it's inner eye on something in the enclosure. Best thing to do is get an appointment at the vet.

we can try. Not sure if you meant to post here or on BD forum, but here is my thought...she may just have a piece of shed stuck. Darwin (BD) did this with his left eye for weeks! I looked with a hand lens and saw very small pieces of shed stuck in the fold. He loves to have his head sprayed so I did that and then VERY VERY gently rubbed his closed eye (he's a very docile and trusting fella ). It took quite sometime to work it out, but the rubbing is what seemed to do the trick. If she will let you do it give it a try. Apply almost NO pressure and rub in circles or back and forth. Don't push it if she doesn't like it.

If it is NOT from shed keep a close eye (haha!) on it and watch for infection. I assume you have her quarantined from your others for now?

Hope this helps and that it is nothing serious!
